No Hassle Returns:
We do pride ourselves in carrying namebrand quality camp and outdoor supplies and hope that you will be pleased with your order. Nonetheless, rest assured that you can return most products. We want you to be 100% happy with our outdoor camp and emergency supplies!
If you need to return something, please do the following:
1. Get authorization. First send an email to orders@campgeardirect.com within 21 days of the invoice date to request an authorization on a return and instructions on where to mail your return. Orders will need to typically be returned to our suppliers rather than to us directly. see product return exceptions.
2. Note product condition. Refunds will be made for the amount of the purchase price, less shipping and handling and a restocking fee. In the case of a defective product we will provide a credit to your credit card of the entire cost including shipping, or full replacement.
3. Note refund timing. Please allow 7 - 10 days for processing returns. Please remember to insure your package. We hope for the best shipping experience but cannot be responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit back to us or our suppliers. To protect yourself, we suggest insuring all returned items. That's It!

Delivery Time and Cost:
Most orders ship within 24 hours from when your order was placed. Product descriptions on our website provide a shipping weight estimate. When you check out, our shopping cart allows you to choose delivery method and estimate cost and time to ship. Some of our suppliers ship directly to you so you may receive your order in multiple shipments.
Shipping:
Camp Gear Direct uses UPS Ground for most shipping within the United States. We've found that UPS provides generally the best value and reliability for our customers. We can ship 2nd day air or overnight in some cases. There is an additional cost to ship overnight or 2nd day air and we would be happy to assist you. If you require a rush order, please email us at orders@campgeardirect.com to request special arrangements.
At times our suppliers ship directly to our customers using United States Postal Service or Federal Express.
At this time we do not ship outside the United States.
No Minimum Order Requirement:
CampGearDirect has no minimum order requirement. Feel free to order a sampler - and don't forget to ask us for ideas.
Sales Tax:
Sales tax will only be assessed for orders that are shipped within the state of Kentucky (6.5%). This is due to the fact that our corporation is located in Lexington, Kentucky. All other states are tax-exempt.
Rush Orders:
